About the Service

Garage & Workshop Electrical, Done Right

Tools, compressors, welders, chargers and refrigerators ask a lot of a garage’s wiring. We add GFCI-protected outlets along benches, 240-volt circuits for big tools, bright LED shop lighting and sub-panels for capacity.

Detached garages and workshops need a feeder from the main panel and a sub-panel at the building. We plan the run, size the wire and breaker correctly and install the grounding and protection the code requires.

Music City Electrical brings garage & workshop electrical to homes and businesses in Nashville and across 22 Middle Tennessee cities.

Questions About Garage & Workshop Electrical

Still have a question?

Call 615-357-7797

Do I need a sub-panel in my garage?

If you are adding several circuits, big tools or an EV charger, a sub-panel is often the cleanest way to do it. We look at your main panel’s capacity and recommend the right approach.

Can you wire a detached workshop?

Yes. We plan the feeder from the house, run it underground or overhead as appropriate and install a sub-panel, outlets and lighting in the building.

What lighting is best for a workshop?

Bright, evenly spread LED fixtures with a neutral to cool white color are popular. We also add task lights over benches.
