About the Service

Dedicated Appliance & 240-Volt Circuits, Done Right

Large appliances draw lots of power, so they get their own circuits, sized to the appliance and wired with the right cable, breaker and receptacle. A circuit that is too small or shared with other loads can trip, overheat or fail to meet code.

We check your panel’s capacity, run the new circuit and install the outlet or direct connection, and test everything with you. If your panel is full, we talk through a sub-panel or a panel upgrade.

Music City Electrical brings dedicated appliance & 240-volt circuits to homes and businesses in Nashville and across 22 Middle Tennessee cities.

Good to Know

Questions About Dedicated Appliance Circuits

Still have a question?

Call 615-357-7797

Can I plug a new electric range into my gas range outlet?

Not usually. A gas range typically has a standard outlet, while an electric range needs a heavy-duty 240-volt circuit. We run a new one and check your panel capacity.

Why does my dryer trip the breaker?

A dryer that trips might be on the wrong breaker size, have a loose connection or have a worn heating element. We test the circuit and the dryer connection.

Do dedicated circuits need GFCI protection?

Some do, depending on the location and the local code. We install the protection that applies to your appliance and your space.
