About the Service

Circuit Breaker Repair & Replacement, Done Right

A circuit breaker is a safety device that opens a circuit when it carries too much current. Over the years, breakers can wear, loosen or overheat, and some panel designs have known issues. Replacing a worn breaker is a small job that can prevent a big problem.

We test breakers, check the connections and the bus inside the panel and replace only with the correct, compatible type for your panel. We also add AFCI and GFCI breakers where modern protection makes sense.

Music City Electrical brings circuit breaker repair & replacement to homes and businesses in Nashville and across 22 Middle Tennessee cities.

Good to Know

Questions About Circuit Breaker Repair

Still have a question?

Call 615-357-7797

How do I know if a breaker is bad?

Signs include a breaker that trips with no clear overload, one that will not reset, one that feels hot or one that is loose in the panel. A licensed electrician can test it and tell you.

Can I replace a breaker myself?

Working inside a panel exposes live parts that can cause serious injury. We recommend letting a licensed electrician do it.

What is the difference between AFCI and GFCI breakers?

AFCI breakers protect against dangerous arcing in wiring, which can start fires. GFCI breakers protect people from shock where water may be present. Many homes use both in different circuits.
